“An avid traveler, I enjoy deepening my experience of place by painting on location or taking reference photos to paint from when back in my studio.  These three pieces are from three distinct areas of the country:  Old Town Albuquerque, NM; Aspen, Colorado; and Scarborough, Maine.  This diversity of place and variety in the landscape offers constant inspiration and motivation to more closely represent in pigment what I feel while out in nature.
