Many of Con Williams’ fondest memories are of growing up on a large cattle ranch in south-central British Columbia, Canada where his father was the cow boss. Much of his early life was spent horseback, behind cattle or exploring what he would later recall as ‘God’s Country’.

While still in high school, Con’s family moved to Washington State where his mother and father raised 6 children. Rodeo was a big part of the Williams family and Con would find himself roping and riding broncs through high school and on into college at Casper, WY and Montana State University. Williams would eventually earn his PRCA card as a saddle bronc rider.

The cowboy and his way of life, is what truly inspires Con. He has always had the greatest respect for those who make their living horseback. It is with these men and women in mind that Williams creates his work, trying to capture their authenticity and character.

He currently resides in Banner, Wyoming with his wife, Sharon. Con’s favorite things to do are hunting, fishing, golfing and spending as much time as he can with his family.
