My art employs the printmaking process of drypoint.  The printing plate, treated as a sketchpad, enhances a fresh, direct observation quality.  This set of prints begins with the subject matter of snow fences.  Strategically placed near roadways they are often overlooked aside from their function as wind breaks to block the migration of snow.  I enjoy these architectural forms and their connection to the windswept plains.
