The Brinton Museum presents Articles of a Treaty, an educational art exhibit about the historic 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty, developed by the Center for American Indian Research and Native Studies (CAIRNS), an Indian-controlled nonprofit research and education center located at Wingsprings in the Lacreek District of Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. Curated by Craig Howe, Ph.D. this show opens on June 10 in The Brinton Museum’s S. K. Johnston, Jr. Family Gallery and continues through August 28.
