The Brinton Museum (Big Horn, WY) (June 19) presents the first in a series of exciting, new exhibitions, Brinton Artists in Residence, beginning this September. The 2019 Brinton Artists in Residence show features six diverse, nationally recognized artists who were invited for two-weeks residencies in 2018 to create art en plein air. This year’s inaugural exhibit, on display in the Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery beginning September 7, includes nearly fifty works in oil, pastel and watercolor by Victor Juhasz (Averill Park, NY), Jessica Garrett (Glendale, AZ), John Potter (Red Lodge, MT), Denise LaRue Mahlke (Waco, TX), Terri Wells (Austin, TX) and Jacob Aguiar (Scarborough, ME).
