
Carolyn Anderson – NWR Artist
2016 Winner of the NWR President’s Award for Painting “SUMMER SUN”
Carolyn Anderson lives in Havre, MT. She is originally from the Chicago area and attended school at Illinois State University. Anderson is a Master Artist with the American Impressionist Society, a member of the Northwest Rendezvous and participates in the Prix de West. She is also a nationally recognized workshop instructor, having taught for Walt Disney Imagineering, the Frye Museum in Seattle, and the National Cowboy Museum. Her paintings have won many awards and been featured in numerous major art magazines.
Anderson’s work is represented by Insight Gallery, Fredericksburg, TX; Gallery 1261, Denver, CO; and Simpson-Gallagher Gallery, Cody, WY.
