Clive Tyler – 2020 Brinton 101

A signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and a Master member of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico. Tyler works in soft pastel on sanded papers. Starting with Plein air, He starts with painting studies on location. Layering colors and focusing on capturing the light of the day. “I have always have enjoyed nature and the feeling it give me” Landscape and Animals in their natural location are some of my favorite views to paint.

Tyler won the 2015 Best Painting at the Buffalo Bill Quick draw 2016 along with people choice award.
His work is included in private and corporate collections and permanent museum collections.
Clive’s work has been included in feature articles in Art of the West, Western Art and Architecture, Southwest Art, and Western Art Collector.
