Halloween Family Fun
Saturday, October 29
2 to 4 PM
‘Twas the night before Halloween and all through The Brinton all kinds of creatures normally hidden came out from the walls and up from the ground. They flew over the barn and over the house, they flew over rooftops and scared a mouse. They had no bones, they had no shoes, they had no coats or hats or shrews.
Join us on Saturday, October 29, from 2 to 4 PM for a Family Fun Day of Halloween Tricks & Treats. Rain or Shine, costumes are encouraged! Your scavenger hunt begins in the Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Building where master printmaker Jim Jereb will present a printmaking demo, if you can guess the magic word, he’ll give you treats. Then sleuth over to the Greenhouse where Science Kids will have creepy crawlies, some live, for you to hold, if you dare. There’s a critter hiding in the Education Pavilion, can you find him? There’s treats in the Milk House. Artist and master leather worker Jim Jackson will be in his studio to demonstrate the art of leather tooling. Admission is FREE!
