The Michael Ome Untiedt artist’s workshop at The Brinton Museum will be held July 15 through 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day and The Brinton Bistro in the Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Building will be available for lunch.

Michael is known for Western themed night scenes and will share this as a base by which to approach the workshop. The fee is $300 for members and $350 for non-members. Participants must also bring their own art supplies and materials.

Michael Ome Untiedt

A resident of Denver, Colorado, artist Michael Ome Untiedt is a premier painter of Western genre and has participated in The Brinton Museum’s Small Works ShowBuffalo Bill Art Show and Sale in Cody; Colorado Governor’s Invitational Art ShowNight of the Artists; and Western Masters Art Show and Sale. He is influenced by the “masters of night painting” Frederic Remington and Frank Tenney Johnson – known for painting superb nocturnes.
