BOOTS, BRONCS & BRINTON! SHERIDAN-WYO-RODEO!

Step into the spirit of the West with Boots, Broncs & Brinton!, an exhibition celebrating the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo and Bradford Brinton’s connection to this iconic event. Held every July since 1931, the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo draws crowds from across the country for three thrilling days of roping, riding, and rodeo tradition.

Bradford Brinton (1880–1936) was part of the rodeo’s early history. During his years as owner of the Quarter Circle A Ranch, one of his great joys was serving as a founding director of the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo. He could be seen riding his favorite palomino, Ol’ Pal, down Main Street in the parade—dressed in his Western finest, waving to the crowd with a wide smile. Ol’ Pal, outfitted with a silver-adorned parade saddle and bridle to match, made quite the impression. Photographs from The Brinton Museum archives capture the spirit of the moment. Bradford Brinton was in his element—rodeo in July!
