Visit The Brinton Museum’s Northern Trust Gallery September 4 to September 30, 2020, to view work by artist Connie Robinson!

“The scenes in this exhibit are all about capturing a special moment in time. In my travels across the region, there are favored locations that have created lasting mental images and the desire to capture them on canvas is and has always been progressive.

Many of these pieces were started in the past ( some, 20 years ago) and this exhibit was the perfect opportunity to ‘dig them out of the closet’, so to speak. Instantly the experience of each particular painting became a special memory of time and place, and the emotional connections they evoked were as true as ever. They readily transport this artist to another place, and hopefully, the viewer will also take the journey and share these  ‘special moments’ of inspiration.” Connie Robinson

Connie Robinson

After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a BFA degree in art (1974), Connie Robinson traveled for many years to partake in various art events. That made for a wonderful opportunity to explore different landscapes of the region, but as a landscape artist, Connie still finds the most pleasurable moments of exploration are right here in the Bighorn mountains. As a Sheridan native, she can still find a new path and reference material to collect even if it’s just an old cow trail.
