Standing atop a rock outcropping at the team's camping site, biologist Samantha Dwinnell tries to raise the signal of Deer 139's collar. The team has moved into the summer range portion of the migration, and it's feasible that we could be picking up 139's signal. So far, she is proving elusive.“Deer 139” follows University of Wyoming research scientist Sam Dwinnell and two friends as they hike, ski, and packraft a mule deer’s migration path for 85 miles through western Wyoming and learn to see the world differently in the process.
