Join us on April 27, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate the opening of Ergo Sum: A Crow A Day.

Ergo Sum: A Crow a Day is a touring exhibition originated by the Woodson Art Museum and includes 365 mixed-media, hand-gessoed panels, 7 ¾” x 5 ¾” each, created by Karen Bondarchuk. Bondarchuk is an artist and Associate Professor of Art at Western Michigan University.

Ergo Sum: A Crow a Day marks the passing of time that her mother – diagnosed with dementia in 2010 – no longer was able to do.

The Brinton Museum is currently working in partnership with The Hub on Smith in Sheridan to offer dementia-friendly programs for caregivers and participants. More information on dementia-friendly activities will be available on The Brinton’s website.

Karen Bondarchuk will be in residence at The Brinton Museum on Thursday, May 2 to give a Gallery Talk on this emotionally expressive exhibit.The gallery talk is co-sponsored by The Brinton Museum and Dementia Friendly Wyoming through a grant by Administration for Community Living.
