Wyoming and Montana artist Paul Waldum will be featured in a one-person show of his pastel paintings in the exhibition Paul Waldum – Wyoming and Montana Landscapes, presented at The Brinton Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming, in June and July, 2018.
Paul Waldum
Originally from Livingston, Montana, Waldum acquired a passion for the outdoors at a young age; it’s his love of nature that is the driving force in his art. Over the past three decades he has spent numerous days in glorious spring and summer and snowy afternoons in autumn and winter hiking the beautiful Cloud Peak Wilderness in the majestic Bighorn Range as well as the picturesque Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness in Montana gathering inspiration for his landscapes. It’s the beauty of the land, the quiet solitude of Western ranches in the foothills that appeals to Waldum’s artistic sensibilities. The Brinton’s show will encompass nearly 40 landscape works recently completed by the artist.
