Greg Newbold is an award-winning fine artist and illustrator from the Greater Salt Lake City Area. His art career spans more than twenty years in the fields of fine art, illustration and teaching. He has received recognition and awards from Society of Illustrators, Society of Illustrators Los Angeles Gold Medal Award and Spectrum. He works in both digital and traditional media. Past clients include: Random House, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Sony Pictures/Tri-Star, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and American Express, to name a few. He has illustrated a dozen books for children and paints Western landscapes. His picture books for children are created as a team with his wife, Amy.
The Newbolds’ series of children’s books creatively bring to life iconic artistic masters with the theme of “If” illustrating a children’s perspective on learning about the wonderful world of art. Book titles include: If Picasso Painted a Snowman, If DaVinci Painted a Dinosaur and If Monet Painted a Monster, and more.
Greg and Amy will be in residence at The Brinton for 3 days during the time period of their show to lead children’s programs for school tours.
