Joel Ostlind is represented in The American Sporting Print – 20th Century Etchers and Drypointists, a limited-edition book on important American printmakers of the 20th century, by John T. Ordeman, published in 2007. He was the featured artist in the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale at the Denver Stock Show in 2002; in a solo exhibition at The Brinton Museum in 2004; and in a one-person show at the University of Wyoming Art Museum in Laramie in 2006. He was a guest participant in The Brinton’s Bighorn Rendezvous Art Show in 2016 and has been featured in the institution’s Small Works Show since 2013. Ostlind is represented in numerous private collections, as well as public collections including the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson (WY) and the prestigious Art in Embassies Program, a public-private partnership that promotes cultural diversity through exhibitions, permanent collections, site-specific commissions and two-way artists exchanges in more than 200 U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world. The Brinton Museum’s permanent collection includes an almost a complete set of his intaglios.
