Taylor Morton
Taylor Morton creates work that addresses current topics through traditional mediums & techniques. Her prints and paintings explore the contradictions & hypocrisies that exist within American society regarding social & political climates & issues. Morton recently had two works on display at a juried art show titled WTF! (What the feminist) at the Prove Gallery in Duluth, MN. In 2019, Morton received a merit award, a purchase award, a juror’s award, the Robert Repinski Printmaking Scholarship, and the Cheng-Khee and Sing Bee Chee Art Scholarship at UMD’s Annual Student Exhibition. She will receive her BFA in studio art from the University of Minnesota Duluth in December of 2020.
