Things that go bump in the night

 

BIG HORN, Wyo. (Sept. 29, 2015) Things That Go Bump in the Night, a Halloween extravaganza for children of all ages will be held at The Brinton Museum on Saturday, October 24, from 2 – 4 p.m., rain or shine.

Participants are encouraged to come dressed in costume to enjoy the Brinton’s annual Trick-Or-Treat Scavenger Hunt at 2:30 p.m., followed by creative activities in the museum’s original reception gallery and a Science Kids ‘creepy crawlies’ exhibit. Fun and easy art projects include making colorful ‘Mouse Socks’, ‘Spider Webs’ and ‘Ghosts’. Participants go home with free Halloween treats and crafts. This special event is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Things That Go Bump In The Night is hosted by The Brinton Museum in partnership with Science Kids, a non-profit organization in Sheridan that offers educational summer programs for children.

The Brinton Museum is a fine arts institution devoted to preserving the art and history of the West. Located on the historic Quarter Circle A Ranch in the foothills of the majestic Bighorn Mountains, it features 19th, 20th and 21st century Western and American Indian Art in a setting that is art unto itself.
