Do I need to check in for the nature trails?
Yes, please check in at the main Museum building before heading out on the trails. This helps us keep track of visitors and ensures your safety.

Do I need a reservation for the Ranch House & Grounds tours?
Ranch House & Grounds tours are offered as paid, guided tours. Reservations ahead of your visit are not required, but they are helpful. Please check in at the main Museum building when you arrive. Tickets for Ranch House and Grounds tours can be purchased at the front desk.

Do I need to check in for the Leather Shop?
Yes, all visitors should check in at the main Museum building before visiting the Leather Shop.

Are pets or emotional support animals permitted in the Museum?
No, pets and emotional support animals are not allowed under any circumstances. Service animals are welcome in the museum.

Are dogs allowed on the trails?
No, dogs are not permitted on the trails to help protect wildlife and preserve the natural setting.

Is the Museum accessible?
Yes! The main Museum building at The Brinton is fully accessible. There is a ramp entrance, an elevator to all levels, and accessible restrooms. Accessible parking is located directly in front of the Museum, and wheelchairs are available to borrow at the front desk. Is there a café at The Brinton Museum?
Yes—the Brinton Bistro is located inside the Museum and offers a delicious menu with indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and during special events. Please call ahead or visit our website to make a reservation.

Is admission free?
Yes! Admission to The Brinton Museum is free. Fees apply for guided Ranch House and Grounds Tours, which can be purchased at the main Museum building.

Can I bring bags into the Museum?
Small purses and shoulder bags are allowed. Large bags or backpacks are not permitted in the galleries, as many of our artworks and displays are not behind glass.

Do you have lockers or a coat room?
Yes. Lockers and a coat room are available for visitor use in the lobby of the main Museum building.

Can I bring food or drinks into the Museum?
Water bottles are permitted but must be left outside the main galleries. Food is not allowed inside the Museum. Visitors are welcome to enjoy their own meals anywhere on the grounds, but we kindly ask that outside food not be consumed in the Bistro or on the Bistro patio.
