Roger Haight and Don Johnson: Two Wyoming Carvers

April 3 - May 25

The Brinton Museum’s Northern Trust Gallery opens the 2026 season featuring two local artists – Roger Haight and Don Johnson – both are familiar faces to The Brinton and longtime supporters of the museum. Their collaboration on a two-person show focuses on the well-liked subject of birds. Roger Haight creates intricate, detailed polychromed sculptures of various bird species in their natural habitats. Don Johnson constructs beautifully finished bird houses with a strong focus on modern architecture. Each artist’s work complements the other highlighting the beauty of birds, nature, and the environment. It was both Bradford Brinton’s and Helen Brinton’s wish that the Quarter Circle A Ranch grounds be preserved as sanctuary for the conservation of birds and wildlife.

A reception to meet the artists takes place on April 3.

Bighorn Audubon Society’s Birding at The Brinton takes place on April 18.
