Join us on October 25, 2025, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM for a spooktacular afternoon of family-friendly Halloween fun at The Brinton Museum! Explore haunted barns, take part in chilling activities, and keep your eyes out for surprises lurking around every corner. From frightful scavenger hunts to hands-on activities and live characters, the Haunted Ranch is sure to delight visitors of all ages. Snacks from the Brinton Bistro will be available for purchase and their will be candy of course!

Scavenger Hunt of Terror – Embark on a frightful scavenger hunt around the ranch and discover the Quarter Circle A Ranch come to life. Follow cryptic clues, dodge spooky surprises, and find hidden treasures as you race against time. Will you uncover the secrets of the haunted ranch? Watch out for lurking monsters!

• Creepy Crawlies in the Greenhouse – Step inside the Brinton Greenhouse with Science Kids and meet their collection of live creepy crawlies! Learn fascinating facts about insects, arachnids, and other crawly critters while getting an up-close look at these spooky (and surprisingly cool) creatures.
• Butter Churning in the Haunted Milk House – Come churn some “zombie butter” in the haunted Milk House! Volunteers will get the chance to experience a witch churning milk the old-fashioned way… but beware, the spirits might sneak a taste or even give you a scare!
• Mannequins of Doom in the Saddle Barn – Dare to enter the carriage barn, where eerie mannequins, creepy creatures, and spine-chilling surprises lurk in the shadows. Keep your eyes peeled, some of these “mannequins” might not be so still…
  
• The Haunted Bunkhouse of the Undead Cowboys – The ghostly cowboys are waiting for you! Enter the Haunted Bunkhouse and hear the whispers of old-time ranchers telling tales of their ghostly hauntings. Watch for spectral shadows and listen to the creaky floorboards, if you dare!
  
• The Haunted Leather Shop of Jim Jackson – Jim Jackson’s Leather Shop is no longer just a shop. It’s become a masterpiece of Halloween horror! Beware the leather-working tools that may come to life, or the shadowy figures that may try to make you their next “project.”
  
• The Headless Horseman Rides Again – Hold onto your broomsticks as the Headless Horsemen gallops through the ranch, charging through the mist in pursuit of his lost head. Will you escape his fiery gaze or find yourself caught in his reign of terror?
