2022 Bighorn Rendezvous Artist – Kathryn Mapes Turner

A recent Brinton Museum Artist in Residence participant, Turner resides in Jackson, Wyoming, where she was born as the fourth generation to be raised on the Triangle X Ranch in Grand Teton National Park. Turner is nationally recognized for her art and has been showcased in exhibits at numerous prestigious venues including the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson; the Charles Russell Museum in Great Falls; Buffalo Bill Center of the West; Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and The Brinton Museum.
