Development Officer, Membership and Sponsors

The Development Officer works closely with both the Development Director and Director of Operations in furtherance of The Brinton Museum’s resource development goals.  The Development Officer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with museum patrons, members, and corporate sponsors with an aim toward optimizing resource development opportunities and community engagement.

Brinton Information Desk and Tour Guide

Tour Guide staff primarily greets visitors and keeps track of museum and tour admissions.  They also provide tours of the historic ranch house and the museum grounds. At the Information Desk staff also provide information about the museum’s latest exhibits as well as brochures. Between tours staff also maintain the ranch house and outbuildings behind it.

Line/Catering Cook at The Brinton Bistro

The Cook at The Brinton Bistro is responsible for preparing food in line with the Bistro concept which includes menu items that are sourced from our own gardens, made from scratch items with fresh ingredients, and innovative spins on classic comfort food.  The Cook is responsible for setting up and prepping for daily service, executing service, communicating with servers about specials and soups, maintaining cleanliness standards, breakdown of the kitchen after service, proper food storage, and equipment shut down.

Bistro Dishwasher

The Dishwasher is an integral role to the success of the Brinton Bistro.  The Dishwasher maintains a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting dishes and prepping food as needed.
