Articles of a Treaty is on exhibit in the S.K. Johnston, Jr. Family Gallery through August 28.
Originated by the Center for American Indian Research and Native Studies (CAIRNS), Articles of a Treaty focuses on the seventeen articles of the 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty. Thirty-two Oceti Sakowin artists created contemporary artworks for this exhibit.
Exhibit Curator Craig Howe, Ph.D. will present an Educational Gallery Talk on Thursday, July 7. The Gallery Talk and Dinner are now SOLD OUT.
