Joanne is an award-winning artist living and working in Colorado.  She is known for her strong shapes and values leading the viewer into her unique view of the Western landscape.

She is a signature member of The American Impressionist Society, and an Artist Member of The Oil Painters of America, Women Artist of the West (WAOW), and Plein Air Artists of Colorado.

She has shown in Gallery Invitationals including The Abend Gallery, in Denver, The Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs, The Sangre de Cristo Art Center in Pueblo, The Howard Millville Gallery in Kirkland, WA, The Eisele Gallery in Cincinnati, OH, The Brinton Museum in BigHorn, Wy, as well as others.

She received an “Award of Distinction” from The American Impressionist Society’s National Show and the “Best of Show” for the 36th Annual Best of Colorado Show in Littleton, Colorado.

I look to nature for inspiration.  Wyoming is a privilege to paint from the windblown clouds to twilight over beaver ponds, and snow and granite soaring.
