“These are all paintings done on location in various areas around Sheridan Wyoming. I love to paint in Plein Air to study light, atmosphere and the natural colors that provide so much inspiration and painting knowledge of the natural world. I love to observe the changing moving light at the same time every day at the same location. The 6 small oil paintings of the Sunrise at The Third Cut Ranch were all painted starting at 6:00am and lasting about an hour each for 6 days straight.
