The 2025 Summer Nature Camp at The Brinton Museum offers three days of outdoor exploration and hands-on learning for ages 9β12, with lunch and materials included.
Summer Nature Camp offers three exciting days of hands-on nature exploration and outdoor learning. Campers will discover the world of insects through bug hunts, close-up investigations, and creative projects. They’ll explore and learn about birds through guided nature hikes, owl pellet dissections, a beak buffet, a migration game, and fun experiments with flight, plus a special butterfly release. The adventure continues as we explore our past with archaeology activities like atlatl tossing and stone tool identification, plus time spent exploring aquatic ecosystems and learning how to set up a field lab by the creek or pond. Itβs a fun and educational experience for curious young explorers!
