Every Third Saturday
Join the Bighorn Audubon Society for Birding at The Brinton!
The Quarter Circle A Ranch has long been home to many of our fine feathered friends. Bradford Brinton was an avid collector of books about birds (including the octavo set by John James Audubon and Rex Brasher’s limited-edition folios) and nature art, most of which can be found in the Library of the Historic Ranch House at The Brinton Museum.
This monthly activity is a joint effort between The Brinton Museum and the Bighorn Audubon Society that began over 8 years ago. Please visit the museum store to pick up a copy of the Checklist of Birds of The Brinton, or Jackie’s comprehensive book – Common Birds of The Brinton Museum and Bighorn Mountain Foothills co-authored with Dr. Paul Johnsgard, author of more than 87 books on birds and biology. All proceeds from the sale of the book are donated to The Brinton and the local Bighorn Audubon Chapter of National Audubon.
9:00am to 11:00am
Free–All levels welcome!
