Join us for a joyous and family-friendly spring event and family activities at The Brinton Museum on March 30th, 2024. This delightful event promises a morning of fun and excitement for children and adults alike, set against the backdrop of the picturesque Brinton Museum grounds. We encourage fun spring baskets, hats, and spring colors.

Explore the natural beauty of The Brinton Museum’s landscape, featuring captivating views of the Bighorn Mountains and rolling hills. It’s a picture-perfect setting for a memorable spring experience.

This event is open to the public and is FREE of charge. Families, friends, and individuals of all ages are welcome to join us for a morning of spring festivities. Feel free to invite your loved ones and make this Welcome Spring at The Brinton Museum a cherished tradition for years to come.

Don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets, phone or camera for the photo booth and a sense of adventure as we celebrate the season together. We can’t wait to share the joy of welcoming spring with you!

Art Scavenger Hunt: Free! The Brinton Museum will provide prizes for participants who find all the hidden objects in the Dean States exhibit. Children can explore, discover, and locate hidden objects within Dean’s artworks. Find all  hidden treasures for a chance to win egg prizes and more!

Face Painting: Free! Our face painting booth is not just about transforming faces, it’s about unlocking the magic with each participant! Step into a world of whimsy and self-expression at the face painting booth. Our talented face painting artists are here to turn your imagination into reality. Participants can choose from an array of colors and designs. 

  • Process: Our skilled artist will use high-quality, skin-safe paints to bring face paints to life. All materials are carefully selected to ensure safety and easy removal. 
  • Photo Moment: Capture the magic by stepping into the photo booth to showcase their face paint and create lasting memories. 
  • Timing: Each face painting session typically takes around 5-8 minutes

Photo Booth: Participants will need a phone or camera to take their own photos at the photo booth!

Rooted in Wyoming: Rooted in Wyoming will give guests a chance to meet some of the littlest livestock around, red wiggler worms. These fascinating little cuties are fun to see hard at work, creating beautiful compost. Guests can also join Rooted in making seed bombs. There will be milkweed flower seeds to feed our butterfly friends, and beet seeds to grow some hearty vegetables at home.
